Three visits to the Republic of Ireland: two business trips to Eli Lilly's factory in Kinsale in 1990 and 1994 and one holiday in 2017.

My first visit was in connection with Business Continuity Planning and the second, just before my early retirement, in connection with a laboratory quality control system.
My main recollection was of my host Joe Kelly, who was quite a character.

Our holiday was in May 2017, which nearly didn't happen due to car hire problems. We flew to Cork and visited Kinsale (which brought back memories for me), Killarney, Tipperary, Dublin and Waterford. All people we met were very friendly and chatty.
